Cloud-Native Architect, Platform Engineer, and Tech Tinkerer
Welcome to my personal tech blog where I share thoughts and insights about technology, software development, cloud computing, industry trends, and the building of my digital products.
I'm a Systems Architect at EPAM Systems Mexico, where I operate at the intersection of technology leadership, solution design, and talent development. I specialize in Cloud Computing, Cloud-Native Technologies, Platform Engineering, and Agentic AI & GenAI Solutions.
My current role spans from end-to-end solution design, to pre-sales consultations, to implementing these secure, high-performing solutions on AWS and other Cloud Providers. I've managed infrastructure accounts with $20M+ USD/month cloud spend bills, operated 100+ node OpenShift clusters processing 120+ PB of media assets, and delivered +$600K+/year in cost savings through strategic optimizations.
Beyond hands-on architecture, I serve as Head of the Systems Engineering & Architecture Pre-Assessment Committee, lead technical governance initiatives, and mentor engineers through training programs and tech talks across Mexico. I've conducted 150+ technical interviews and serve as Infrastructure Tech Lead for multiple client engineering teams.
